The relationship with Avomex began in August 2024. During this period, the company was seeking to transform people's behavior through the implementation of the Lean System, as well as structuring more efficient and coherent workflows that would optimize each stage of operational processes. This improvement sought to generate a direct and measurable impact on key performance indicators, favoring increased productivity, strengthening quality standards, and reducing delivery times to internal and external customers. To achieve these results, the Value Stream Mapping technique was implemented, a set of fundamental tools within the Lean approach that allows for visualizing, analyzing, and transforming processes from a holistic perspective. The "rigid and flexible mini cups" pilot process was selected as a starting point, applying both the methodological framework and practical tools of VSM to identify inefficiencies and sources of waste that affected overall performance.
Based on the detailed analysis, the team was able to identify activities that did not add value and design solutions focused on eliminating or significantly reducing them, thus achieving a more agile and effective operational flow.
During this process, participants acquired a deep understanding of the fundamental principles and best practices associated with the use of VSM. This collective learning not only contributed to the success of the pilot but also empowered the team to apply this continuous improvement approach to other processes and areas of the organization, promoting a culture of efficiency, critical analysis, and constant evolution.

The Avomex challenge
Design efficient process flows, impacting performance indicators and improving productivity, quality, and delivery times.
Apply the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) technique, its work framework, and tools to a pilot process, with the goal of identifying the main losses and redesigning them by eliminating or reducing them.
The team learned the main guidelines and concepts of the technique, allowing them to extend the redesign methodology to other operations or processes in the company.
