auxiell is once again named one of the Best Workplaces™ for Gen Z among the top 20 Italian companies

From psychologists to support for new parents: here’s what young people are looking for in a job

The company ranks among the 20 Italian companies most appreciated by younger workers. Starting in 2023, over 300,000 euros will be invested in employee welfare and care, including free psychological counseling sessions and a 4,500-euro stipend for new parents

Padua, July 15, 2026 – Psychological support, concrete measures to help employees navigate the arrival of a child, greater attention to work-life balance, and opportunities to actively participate in company life. These are some of the elements that contribute to creating a workplace valued by Generation Z. This is also reflected in the experience of auxiell —a Padua-based consulting firm with over 100 employees that helps organizations improve their performance—which has been included in Great Place to Work’s 2026 ranking of the 20 BestWorkplaces™ for Gen Z in Italy. This case study offers a close-up look at how the expectations of younger people are changing and what responses companies can implement.

Since 2023, auxiell has allocated a total of over 300,000 euros to welfare credits and key employee well-being initiatives, which are utilized by more than 90% of the workforce. In 2025 alone, investments in employee well-being increased by over 80% compared to the previous year.

Among the initiatives most focused on individual well-being is the psychological support program developed with Unobravo. The company fully covers ten sessions for each employee and then offers preferential rates for continuing the program, which can also be funded through welfare credits. This initiative has been particularly well-received by employees: 80% of those who used the service had never undergone therapy before, and 2 out of 3 people chose to continue treatment after the free period ended.

Starting in 2025, a Parental Policy will also be in effect, granting each new parent a welfare credit of 1,500 euros per year for each of the child’s first three years of life. The total support can therefore reach 4,500 euros for each new birth and complements other tools designed to help employees balance family responsibilities with work.

In addition to these measures, the company offers an individual welfare credit, additional allowances for those who travel frequently, wellness sessions open to the entire workforce, and a referral program through which employees can directly participate in recruiting new colleagues and receive a financial reward from the company.

The Great Place to Work certification is based on an anonymous survey of employees, who are asked to evaluate their company on aspects such as credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and the quality of relationships. Organizations that achieve the highest scores qualify for various Best Workplaces rankings, including the one dedicated to Generation Z.

For Auxiell, this achievement marks a new milestone in a journey that began in 2020, the year the company first earned Great Place to Work certification. Over the years, it has also been included in rankings dedicated to Millennials and workplaces most committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
